The two most important questions to ask all candidates for public office are not about the economy, jobs, health insurance, or moral issues. Believe it or not the two most important questions to ask are about upholding the Constitution of the United States.

#1. Do you believe in the Constitution of the United States, and will you uphold it by a strict federalist interpretation, or will you creatively interpret it to your feelings of the moment?

#2. Will you appoint judges at all levels that will uphold the Constitution of the United States by a strict federalist interpretation; or will you appoint activist judges that will creatively interpret and change its meaning to their whims of the moment?

Why ask these questions? Because it is the decisions of the judges (especially on the federal level) that determine the quality of life that we enjoy or suffer through, long long after the candidates have served their terms, retired, and passed away.

“Hey Brian, the President appoints all the federal judges.” you say. Partially true. The President nominates and the Congress approves all federal judge appointees. At the state level it is the Governor and Legislature.

Therefore we need to ask these two important questions of all candidates at all levels of government. Did you know one of the first laws that President George Washington signed mandated that schools teach about morality and about GOD in our public schools? In the late 20th century the Supreme Court ruled to take GOD out of our schools and government. Without GOD in our schools and government, morals soon began to disappear. As the Supreme Court continued to tear down the morals of this nation you can see the steady increase in crime and antisocial behavior. The founding fathers believed in GOD and asked for HIS guidance in framing our Constitution and our Declaration of Independence. In the first line of our Declaration of Independence they acknowledge GOD exists. In the second line of our Declaration of Independence they reference that GOD created mankind. In the last paragraph they are “appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world”. The founding fathers knew that without GOD’s guidance their experiment in self-government would be short lived. A majority of the founding fathers were, or became ministers. Now why would we want more judges who decide that the founding fathers were wrong, despite the fact that this country worked very well for over 175 years following the basic principles the founding fathers laid out? *

Do we really want judges who think they know better than anyone else, instead of interpreting and upholding the law as defined by our Declaration of Independence, our Constitution, and our Bill of Rights? Do we really want judges who seek to remove all traces of GOD and morality from our country? Think back to the last time you were cheated, or someone stole from you, or someone unfairly used his or her authority over you. How did you feel? Not so good? Now imaging a country where there is no GOD or morality. I can. Russia, China, and Korea are a few that pop into mind. These countries have done their best to remove GOD from themselves. In these countries it is more important to know the right person to pay off than how properly or honestly you conduct yourself. And freedom? Forget about it. In these countries freedom is for the elite few. The masses are expected to do what they are told, when they are told, and how they are told. If you don’t believe me, why don’t you go over and visit t hem? You will get an education you will never forget.

So why worry about a candidates stand on the Constitution and what types of judges they will appoint? FREEDOM !!! QUALITY OF LIFE !!! OUR CHILDREN’S CHILDREN’S CHILDREN !!! If we shirk our responsibility to elect good people who will uphold the Constitution of the United States by a strict federalist interpretation that will protect our rights and way of life, not only will we suffer, but our children will suffer, our grandchildren will suffer, our great grandchildren will suffer, our great great grandchildren will suffer, our great……..
